A trilliant Chinese amethyst (approximately 9mm) is bezel set off center on this polished gold ring. Three chevron stripes constructed of Chinese pink Mother-of-Pearl are inlaid on one ridged shoulder. The chevrons appear to emanate from the trilliant, graduating in size, with the largest chevron nearest the gem. The other shoulder is straight. An open back enables light to pass through the amethyst, while a tapered shank makes the ring comfortable.
