This year marks the 20th anniversary of the American Eagles. Your 2-piece MS 70 set includes a Silver Eagle with Adolf Weinman's breathtaking Lady Liberty on the front and a heraldic eagle with symbolism representing the original 13 colonies on the reverse. The Gold Eagle's obverse features the famous Augustus St. Gaudens design that first appeared in 1907. Lady Liberty is striding forward holding a torch of knowledge and an olive branch of peace. Both coins are graded and individually encapsulated in clear acrylic by the ICG to preserve their loveliness and condition. The numbered set is placed in a black museum box with a certificate of authenticity.
