Launch a global chic movement in your own home with our Zen inspired Bamboo Candles lighting the way. Bamboo is associated with Asian themes and these candle holders are right in line. Genuine bamboo wood is fashioned into a cradle for natural beeswax candles. Out of the 3 designs, 2 are trough-shaped and the others are standalone candles wrapped in smooth bamboo sticks. Beeswax is produced by bees in the form of tiny scales which are "sweated" from the segments on the underside of the abdomen. To stimulate the production of beeswax the bees gorge themselves with honey or sugar syrup and huddle together to raise the temperature of the cluster. The results produce all natural wax candles with no artificial scents.
