A visual odyssey of color and form is found in this Margarita quartz and amethyst kaleidoscope-cut ring from Colleen Lopez. Intoxicating with a kaleidoscope cut, this Brazilian Margarita quartz (approximately 14x12mm=6.35ct) is prong set at an angle in the center of the 14K yellow gold ring. On two sides rest two vibrant purple amethysts (approximately 1.75mm) also in prong settings. The gallery is crafted in an open-work scroll design with an open back allowing light to enter the stone from a variety of angles. Polished V-style shoulders lead to a tapered shank for a bold, yet comfortable fit.
